About Me

Hi, I’m Lydia, a UX/UI designer with a background in interdisciplinary arts and design, computer education, and customer-focused work. I enjoy combining creativity with problem-solving to create experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable to use. What drew me to UX is the opportunity to understand how people think, what they need, and where they encounter frustration, then use those insights to make an experience work better.

I’m naturally curious and enjoy learning independently, whether I’m exploring design tools like Figma and Adobe, experimenting with Blender and other creative software, or learning specialized workplace systems with their own interfaces and workflows. I’ve also developed an appreciation for using AI as a tool for asking questions, exploring unfamiliar concepts, and helping me learn. Outside of UX/UI, I enjoy creating artwork and exploring different forms of visual design. My experience working directly with customers and teaching arts and crafts has also taught me how much the people behind an experience matter. As a frontline employee, I’ve seen firsthand how employees can shape a customer’s experience and an organization’s reputation, and I bring that perspective into the way I approach design.
